Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • hands-on chef leadership experience
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage high-volume foodservice operations
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • willingness to relocate if outside the area

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • hands-on chef leadership required
  • high-volume foodservice experience preferred
  • institutional, batch cooking, or catering experience a plus
  • strong knowledge of food quality, cost controls, sanitation, and presentation
  • computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations
  • prepare or direct meal production to company standards
  • develop regular and modified menus
  • ensure recipe, portion, and presentation compliance
  • complete production and waste logs
  • train staff on food preparation, safety, sanitation, and equipment use
  • manage cleaning and maintenance schedules
  • control food and supply inventory within budget
  • ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • participate in meetings and staff development programs
