Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional culinary experience including leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance
  • Demonstrated success in managing large teams and high-volume food operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or similar culinary leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of culinary trends and regional cuisines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience in budget management and cost control
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all culinary operations including meal production, food quality, presentation, safety and sanitation compliance, team productivity, policy implementation, cost control and profitability
  • Create and implement new menus and individual menu items based on current food trends and regional tastes
  • Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and make improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Perform general management duties including systems management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, department management and meeting facilitation
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations and recognition
  • Recruit, interview and train culinary team members
