Job Requirements

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Experience in managing large scale culinary operations
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and guest service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to develop innovative menus
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in budget management and forecasting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a culinary team

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all culinary operations including production of meals, food quality and presentation, and safety and sanitation compliance
  • Create and implement new menus and menu items based on food trends and regional tastes in partnership with Director of Food and Beverage
  • Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction, evaluate issues and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Perform general management duties including budget, forecasting, report generation, and department management
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations and recognition
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
