Job Requirements

  • Relevant culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years Executive Chef experience
  • Background in upscale hotel or restaurant culinary operations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years experience as an Executive Chef
  • Proven leadership in upscale hotels or specialty restaurants
  • Experience managing high-volume banquets
  • Strong culinary and menu development skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to manage budgets and food cost controls

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all culinary operations including meal production, food quality, and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Create and implement innovative menus reflecting current trends and regional tastes
  • Monitor guest and client satisfaction and implement improvements
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the culinary department
  • Recruit, interview, train, and develop culinary team members
  • Conduct performance evaluations and foster team productivity and morale
