Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in related field and five years full-time experience in large scale or healthcare food service including eighteen months supervisory experience
  • Certification in related field and six years full-time experience in large scale or healthcare food service including eighteen months supervisory experience
  • High school diploma or equivalency and seven years full-time experience in large scale or healthcare food service including eighteen months supervisory experience
  • Degrees must be from accredited institutions or recognized by Roswell Park

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a related field or certification in related field with equivalent experience
  • Experience in a large scale or healthcare food service environment
  • At least eighteen months supervisory, managerial, consultative, or executive experience
  • Strong procurement, leadership, and culinary experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical nutrition standards and food safety
  • Ability to lead and motivate culinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee all culinary operations including menu development and food safety
  • Manage kitchen staff and collaborate with dietitians and foodservice personnel
  • Ensure compliance with dietary and medical nutrition standards
  • Lead creation of nutritious, visually appealing, and comforting meals
  • Plan and develop retail and catering menus
  • Maintain a positive workplace environment focused on quality and safety
  • Foster collaboration across departments to enhance patient and staff meal service
