Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field or certification or high school diploma
  • Five to seven years of full-time experience in large scale or healthcare food service
  • At least eighteen months of supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive experience
  • Ability to comply with food safety and nutrition standards
  • Availability for full-time work with variable shifts
  • Commitment to providing service in a healthcare setting

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a related field and five years of experience in large scale or healthcare food service with supervisory experience
  • Certification in a related field and six years of experience including supervisory roles
  • High school diploma or equivalency with seven years of relevant experience including supervisory roles
  • Strong leadership and culinary skills
  • Experience in procurement and foodservice management

Job Duties

  • Oversee culinary operations and manage kitchen staff
  • Develop menus that meet dietary and medical nutrition standards
  • Collaborate with dietitians and foodservice personnel to ensure quality meal services
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and healthcare guidelines
  • Plan and develop retail and catering menus
  • Manage procurement, inventory, and food cost control
  • Foster a positive and efficient workplace environment
