Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Five plus years of experience as Executive Chef or similar leadership role
  • ServSafe Certification and State Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work hands-on with a small culinary staff
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, structured culinary environment
  • Passion for culinary innovation and quality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Innovate and curate diverse, seasonal, and nutritious menus catering to residents’ dietary needs
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a passionate culinary team fostering continuous improvement
  • Cultivate a culture of feedback and collaboration with residents and community leadership to enhance dining experiences
  • Oversee kitchen operations focusing on efficiency, budget management, compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Elevate culinary reputation through community events, cooking demonstrations, and partnerships with local farms and vendors
  • Host occasional small catering events
  • Perform other duties as assigned
