Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of high-volume catering or banquet culinary leadership experience
  • Proven track record managing culinary operations and kitchen teams
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Exceptional culinary skills with passion for food presentation and creativity
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Develop seasonal menus and recommend improvements to current offerings
  • Oversee all food production, including sauce preparation and recipe development
  • Conduct quality control tastings and provide constructive feedback to staff
  • Manage hot line operations to ensure timely, high-quality food preparation
  • Hire, train, and schedule kitchen staff
  • Build team efficiency through cross-training initiatives
  • Provide regular performance feedback and hold staff accountable
  • Ensure proper break schedules and staff well-being
  • Recommend exceptional performers for owner recognition
  • Monitor inventory and manage purchasing from approved vendors
  • Control food and paper costs while maintaining quality standards
  • Implement waste reduction strategies
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and schedule preventive maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Participate in weekly strategy meetings with ownership
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness to company and health code standards
  • Oversee food presentation and plating standards
  • Ensure all menu items meet quality specifications
