Job Requirements

- Completion of culinary training program
- Five years culinary management experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Critical thinking and decisive judgment skills

Job Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years culinary management experience
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to develop standardized recipes and manage production schedules
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in budget development and policy implementation
Job Duties
- Orient, train, coach, discipline and evaluate kitchen staff
- Monitor and enforce staff compliance with HACCP and departmental food handling, sanitation and maintenance guidelines
- Review menus and special orders to determine types and quantities of food to prepare
- Develop standardized recipes for all food preparations
- Prepare and/or direct meal production to meet service standards and objectives
- Coordinate food preparation schedules and objectives collaboratively
- Facilitate catered and special event coordination with departments and external vendors
- Assist in budget development and policy implementation relating to production, purchasing, sanitation and inventory management
