Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in scratch kitchens including cafés bistros wine bars or market-style dining
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a calm positive approach
  • Knowledge of food and labor cost management vendor relationships and inventory systems
  • Experience opening a restaurant or building a kitchen culture from scratch is a plus
  • Ability to develop creative menus focused on quality and seasonality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Lead all back-of-house operations including prep service hiring training and mentoring
  • Develop menus that highlight seasonal ingredients quality and wine pairings
  • Establish and maintain kitchen systems processes and standards for consistent execution
  • Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house to create a welcoming and memorable guest experience
  • Manage food and labor cost controls vendor relationships and inventory systems
  • Ensure kitchen compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations
  • Mentor and inspire kitchen team fostering a positive and productive work culture
