Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in culinary leadership roles
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory and cost management systems
  • Commitment to upholding Hilton's values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or head chef in a full-service hotel or similar setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to create innovative and appealing menus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with budget management and cost control

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all culinary operations including hotel meals and banquet services
  • Create and implement new menus reflecting current food trends and regional tastes
  • Interact with guests and clients to assess satisfaction and address concerns
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Perform general management duties including budget management and report generation
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, training, and evaluations
  • Recruit, interview, and train kitchen staff
