Job Requirements

  • Minimum culinary or hospitality education or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a culinary leadership role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety practices and compliance
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capable of leading and motivating a team
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to lead and develop a diverse culinary team
  • Proven problem-solving skills and creative solution orientation
  • High proficiency in culinary financial management and menu creation
  • Detail-oriented with leadership in systems and processes
  • Strong observational skills related to food quality, service readiness, inventory, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
  • Experience with SOPs and compliance with local and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Be responsible for all culinary operations including recipe execution, financial profitability, staffing, SOP compliance, and local and federal guideline adherence
  • Serve as a hands-on Subject Matter Expert in food safety, preparation, and presentation
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop culinary associates to ensure high engagement, promote internal advancement, and minimize turnover
  • Foster productive relationships with sales and marketing, event management, FOH team, owners, business partners, and vendors
  • Facilitate the ordering, preparing, marketing, and execution of recipes including cost management
  • Participate actively in month-end and year-end financial processes and reporting
  • Maintain high standards for food quantity, quality, service readiness, inventory, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
