Job Requirements

  • Minimum eight years of professional culinary experience
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in kitchen management
  • Strong communication and delegation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Proficient in using kitchen management software
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift heavy supplies up to 45 pounds
  • Willingness to maintain strict hygiene and safety standards
  • Commitment to high-quality food preparation and presentation

Job Qualifications

  • Eight years of experience in professional kitchens
  • Proven kitchen management skills
  • Ability to develop and modify menus based on seasonal ingredients
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Proficient with various computer software programs related to kitchen management
  • Ability to resolve problems efficiently
  • Passionate about food, wine, and guest experience
  • Understanding of current cooking trends and best practices

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
  • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
  • Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
  • Oversee portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  • Recruit and manage kitchen staff
  • Rectify arising problems or complaints
  • Give prepared plates the 'final touch'
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
  • Commit to passionately, intensely, uncompromisingly humble hospitality and high-quality guest experience
  • Handle volume and stress with aplomb and finesse
  • Hold the standard of high-quality food above all else
