Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant culinary experience in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of local and federal food safety regulations
  • Ability to manage and mentor a diverse culinary team
  • Excellent organizational and financial management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversee all culinary operations within the hotel or outlet including recipe execution, financial profitability, staffing, adherence to SOPs, and compliance with local and federal guidelines
  • Serve as a hands-on subject matter expert for food safety, preparation, and presentation
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the culinary team to ensure high engagement and low turnover while executing front and back-of-house systems
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, event management, front of house teams, owners, business partners, and vendors to foster productive relationships
  • Manage ordering, recipe marketing, execution, and cost control to ensure culinary department profitability
  • Participate actively in monthly and year-end financial reporting and operational processes
  • Maintain high standards for sanitation, safety, cleanliness, inventory management, and service readiness through regular walk-throughs
