Job Requirements
- 7+ years of leadership experience in sports and entertainment premium hospitality operations, food and beverage, operations management
- Degree or training in culinary arts, hospitality management, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, email communications, and purchasing procedures
- Knowledge of budget management, labor, and food costs
- Must reside in Philadelphia, PA
- Ability to produce consistent products in high volume
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to run a business as if owned personally
- Exceptional knife skills and culinary technique knowledge
Job Qualifications
- 7+ years of leadership experience in sports and entertainment premium hospitality operations, food and beverage, operations management
- Degree or training in culinary arts, hospitality management, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, internal and external email communications, and purchasing procedures
- Knowledge of budget management, labor, and food costs
- Residency in Philadelphia, PA
- Capable of producing a consistent product in high volume
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to run a business as if owned personally
- Exceptional knife skills and knowledge of a variety of culinary techniques with the ability to teach these skills
Job Duties
- Plan and execute event menus
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures
- Manage and work closely with Account Executives to understand event details including custom menus, event setup, and specifics
- Responsible for all culinary aspects of event food service areas
- Ensure total execution of events and food service while maintaining the highest level of food quality and presentation
- Manage purchasing and inventory for all culinary operations
- Meet venue financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
- Create weekly financial reporting including declining balance, invoice tracking, and labor vs. sales reports
- Develop, implement, and communicate creative menu items adhering to company standards
- Manage financial goals and food cost while maintaining and tracking the venue’s budget
- Oversee training, accountability, and scheduling of culinary staff
- Coordinate schedules for front of house and back of house staff to align with events
- Lead and coach the culinary department to foster a strong team
- Support the coordination and execution of special events including golf and boat events
- Perform other related duties as needed
