Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to A.S. degree or relevant experience
  • Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Proven catering experience preferred
  • Ability to work in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
  • Competency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and email
  • Certification in ServSafe preferred
  • Commitment to client satisfaction activities

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. or equivalent experience
  • Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
  • Catering experience a plus
  • Experience with high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and internet
  • ServSafe certified highly desirable
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Duties

  • Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • Produces and execute catering events
  • Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • Supervises preparation and cooking of various food items
  • Assists in kitchen management and staff supervision
  • Ensures adherence to sanitation and quality standards
