  • Culinary degree or minimum five years of industry experience
  • Experience managing and motivating a kitchen team
  • Proven cost control abilities in food, labor, and beverage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to hygiene and food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee the preparation of innovative and high-quality cuisine for dining rooms and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations including stock control, wastage minimization, and hygiene standards
  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure peak performance
  • Develop and manage food, labor, and beverage costs to maintain profitability
  • Collaborate with Director of Food & Beverage and maintain relationships with hotel departments
  • Source and liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality ingredients
  • Participate actively in menu creation and stay updated with food and beverage trends
