Job Requirements

  • Culinary school diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing dining services
  • Experience managing budgets
  • English language proficiency
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug test
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and ordering software
  • Must be over the age of 21

Job Duties

  • Oversee kitchen and wait staff while managing budget and inventory
  • Recruit and maintain kitchen staff
  • Lead and inspire excellent customer service for residents
  • Ensure meals are served with appetizing and attractive presentation
  • Create and maintain schedules for the dining services team
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining room
  • Plan and direct all food preparation and service according to Bonaventure standards
  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations for long-term care communities
  • Handle event planning for special events
  • Collaborate with health services to provide dining support for residents with specific dietary needs
