Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years culinary experience preferably in a private club or similar upscale environment
  • proven track record in kitchen leadership and staff development
  • knowledge of menu planning and inventory management
  • ability to manage budgets and labor costs effectively
  • proficient in food safety and sanitation standards
  • capable of working full-time with seasonal fluctuations
  • willingness to relocate if necessary

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional culinary experience
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • experience with seafood and fish preparation
  • budget management and cost control expertise
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proactive and hands-on leadership approach
  • experience working with seasonal and H2B visa staff preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • prior experience in a private club or upscale hospitality environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee all culinary operations ensuring high-quality food preparation
  • design innovative menus focusing on seafood and member preferences
  • lead and manage kitchen staff and seasonally hired personnel
  • maintain strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards
  • control food inventory and manage costs to meet budget targets
  • engage with members to gather and respond to dining feedback
  • participate in Food and House Advisory Committees and conduct tastings for new menu rollouts
