Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years culinary experience preferably in a private club or similar upscale environment
- proven track record in kitchen leadership and staff development
- knowledge of menu planning and inventory management
- ability to manage budgets and labor costs effectively
- proficient in food safety and sanitation standards
- capable of working full-time with seasonal fluctuations
- willingness to relocate if necessary
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional culinary experience
- strong leadership and team management skills
- experience with seafood and fish preparation
- budget management and cost control expertise
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proactive and hands-on leadership approach
- experience working with seasonal and H2B visa staff preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- prior experience in a private club or upscale hospitality environment preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee all culinary operations ensuring high-quality food preparation
- design innovative menus focusing on seafood and member preferences
- lead and manage kitchen staff and seasonally hired personnel
- maintain strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- control food inventory and manage costs to meet budget targets
- engage with members to gather and respond to dining feedback
- participate in Food and House Advisory Committees and conduct tastings for new menu rollouts
