Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Five or more years of progressive kitchen or culinary management experience
  • Experience in university or college campus foodservice environments preferred
  • Certification in ServSafe food safety practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and inventory
  • Commitment to food quality and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five or more years of progressive kitchen or culinary management experience in university or college campus foodservice
  • Proven expertise in menu planning, inventory control, and financial forecasting
  • Certified in ServSafe food safety practices
  • Passion for culinary innovation and excellence

Job Duties

  • Craft creative, on-trend menus highlighting seasonal ingredients and dietary inclusivity
  • Lead and inspire culinary team while adhering to safety and sanitation best practices
  • Ensure all meals meet culinary standards and comply with health regulations
  • Oversee daily production, inventory, and waste reduction practices
  • Collaborate with university stakeholders to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Manage food and labor budgets, monitor financial performance
  • Provide hands-on training and development for culinary staff
  • Design bespoke menus for high-profile events and catering
