The Racquet Club, established in 1959, is a prestigious private, member-equity club located in Midland, Texas. Nestled in the heart of the nation's oil and gas industry, the Club has built a rich legacy offering an exceptional blend of recreational and social amenities to its 320 resident members. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years luxury culinary experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef
- Successful experience in both a la carte and banquet operations
- Culinary arts degree from an accredited school is preferred
- Certified Executive Chef (ACF) or Pro Chef (CIA) certification is preferred
- Certification in food safety is mandatory
- Proven leadership ability
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Strong leadership and culinary professionalism with proven high-level service experience
- Successful track record in cost control, recipe standardization, and budget planning
- Ability to blend culinary traditions with innovative trends
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience with Jonas POS software is a plus
- Skilled in member engagement and social media communication
- Well-respected among leadership and community teams
- Culinary arts degree preferred

Job Duties
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for all culinary operations
- Engage actively with members and articulate the culinary vision
- Collaborate and train culinary team daily
- Delegate responsibilities to empower the team
- Recruit and develop culinary staff
- Maintain high operating and safety standards
- Coordinate with front-of-house managers for seamless service
- Maintain menus with a balance of classic and innovative dishes
- Oversee food preparation standards including recipes and presentation
- Implement and manage food safety and sanitation programs
- Plan menus for food outlets and special events
- Monitor payroll and labor costs to meet budget goals
- Utilize systems and technology for inventory and kitchen management
- Prepare and monitor financial data including budgets and actual costs
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture
- Maintain presence during peak business times
