Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- Proven extensive experience as Executive Chef or higher in upscale, high-volume restaurant
- Experience managing BOH operations generating at least $10 million in food and beverage revenue
- Extensive banquet and catering menu design and execution skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Financial management skills including budget monitoring and cost control
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced settings
Job Qualifications
- Proven extensive experience as an Executive Chef or above in a high-volume upscale restaurant or hospitality environment
- Experience managing BOH operations at a venue with minimum $10 million in F&B revenue
- Extensive banquet and catering experience with menu design expertise
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- Expertise in menu development, food trends, and presentation techniques
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Financial acumen for managing budgets, cost control, and performance analysis
- Passion for sustainability, seasonal ingredients, and innovative culinary techniques
- Ability to thrive under pressure in dynamic fast-paced environments
Job Duties
- Develop and execute an innovative seasonal menu aligning with Castaway's standards
- Ensure seamless execution during peak service in high-volume kitchen
- Oversee menu design and preparation for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing kitchen team fostering collaboration and creativity
- Manage all kitchen operations ensuring food quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Monitor food costs, labor budgets, and inventory to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with front-of-house and events teams to enhance guest dining experience
