Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of kitchen management or chef experience
  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Extensive banquet style event experience
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years kitchen management or chef experience

  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Extensive banquet style event experience
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or the ability to obtain preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the companys mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • Work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all food and beverage events
  • Assist with cooking when needed
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Develop key staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits to comply with health regulations
  • Report critical issues to the General Manager
