Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience in culinary or food services
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Proven knowledge of Indian cuisine regional specialties
  • Mastery of traditional Indian cooking techniques
  • Strong proficiency in spice blending and flavor balancing
  • Experience with scratch cooking and use of fresh, local ingredients

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience in a culinary or food service environment
  • Proven expertise in North Indian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques
  • Ability to develop innovative and authentic menus
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement and inventory management
  • Experience working in upscale or high-profile dining establishments

Job Duties

  • Lead the culinary operations of a dedicated Indian cuisine café
  • Design and execute authentic, regional Indian menus
  • Work hands-on 80% of the time to ensure culinary excellence and consistency
  • Manage a team of 7 skilled culinary professionals
  • Oversee menu planning, inventory, and procurement focused on fresh, local, seasonal ingredients
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold culinary quality and operational efficiency
