Job Requirements
- implement and coordinate the culinary function
- direct and train cooks and utility workers
- ensure food preparation and production meets operational standards
- manage catering, retail areas, and support patient dining
- customer and client satisfaction
- financial management including food cost and labor management
- manage food and physical safety programs and inventory controls
Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 3 years management experience
- minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
- proficiency in food safety and sanitation standards
- experience in financial management including food cost and labor management
- ability to lead and inspire culinary teams
Job Duties
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
- ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
- develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
- ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
- be responsible for food management and scheduling
- conduct audits, create action plans based on audit findings and maintain GC audit books
