Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to conduct audits and implement corrective action plans
  • Proficiency in food cost and inventory management
  • Working knowledge of automated food inventory and management systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience with food cost analysis and inventory control
  • Familiarity with automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple food service operations simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Provide culinary leadership including menu planning, program execution, staff management and training
  • Responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory management, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • Ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards compliance
  • Manage food inventory, scheduling, and ordering systems
  • Conduct audits, create action plans based on audit findings, update GC audit books
  • Monitor, audit, implement and standardize new menus
  • Manage patient dining, catering, and retail food service operations
  • Lead food and physical safety training programs for associates
