Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • Experience supervising and training a culinary team
  • Strong human resource and supervisory skills
  • Good financial acumen
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work confidently and warmly with diverse people
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Prior restaurant and catering experience
  • Experience with country club, restaurant and/or retirement living dining
  • Experience supervising and training a culinary team with exceptional human resource and supervisory skillset
  • Good financial acumen and strong computer skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with a diverse set of people
  • Positive approach to tasks with a can-do attitude and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute innovative, nutritious, and appealing menus tailored to resident preferences and special dietary needs
  • Ensure rigorous food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met and exceeded
  • Lead, mentor, and engage culinary and utility staff to foster a positive, resident-focused culture
  • Plan and execute special events and chef dinners, providing elevated dining experiences that delight residents and guests
  • Collaborate closely with wellness and care teams to support resident health and satisfaction
  • Manage inventory, budget, and vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency and quality
