Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Passion for sustainable and student-focused cuisine

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume setting
  • Background in college/university dining, large-scale catering, or multi-unit foodservice operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for fresh, sustainable, and student-focused cuisine
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain
  • Familiarity with Sodexo systems, including DRIVE, is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead and inspire a diverse culinary team across multiple service lines
  • Develop and execute seasonal, trend-driven menus that reflect student tastes and dietary needs
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and culinary excellence
  • Partner with Sodexo and campus leadership to enhance customer experience and satisfaction
  • Drive operational consistency, innovation, and efficiency across all dining operations
