Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in food or culinary services including restaurants fast food vending catering services institutional services or mall food courts
  • ServSafe Certified with knowledge of HAACP
  • Strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Proficient computer skills and organizational abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in culinary services
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants fast food vending catering services institutional services or mall food courts
  • Strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • Strong management skills and experience
  • Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
  • Proficient computer skills highly organized and detail-focused
  • Proven ability to set up processes create efficiencies and solve problems with little to no direction
  • ServSafe Certified with proven working knowledge of HAACP
  • C.E.C. (Certified Executive Chef) a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead daily kitchen operations ensuring food quality safety and presentation exceed expectations
  • Develop creative seasonal and diverse menus tailored to student preferences and nutritional standards
  • Supervise and train a diverse culinary team promoting a culture of mentorship and professional growth
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and administrative staff to streamline operations and exceed client satisfaction
  • Manage food and labor costs procurement inventory control and sustainability initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all Sodexo local and federal food safety and sanitation standards
