Job Requirements

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, mall food courts

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, mall food courts
  • strong culinary background with ability to produce and present high quality food
  • menu planning experience and understanding of current culinary trends
  • strong management skills and experience
  • proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
  • proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction
  • ServSafe Certified with working knowledge of HACCP
  • Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.) a plus

Job Duties

  • implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
  • manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
  • procurement and purchasing
  • create menus based on client needs
  • implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services
  • create interpersonal relationships with client
