Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years of relevant culinary or food service work experience
  • ability to interact directly with clients
  • strong communication skills
  • commitment to maintaining high culinary standards
  • willingness to train and mentor staff

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years of management experience
  • minimum 2 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • strong culinary background with the ability to stay current with culinary trends
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • previous restaurant experience
  • strong management skills

Job Duties

  • Manage the daily food production including production planning and controls
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • manage food costing and controls compliance
  • oversee the account safety regulations and initiatives
  • develop menus and manage inventory
  • have high expectations for customer service and quality of food
  • develop and train frontline employees
  • engage in direct interaction with catering services across the campus
