Job Requirements
- associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 2 years management experience
- minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
- ability to oversee food production for multiple locations
- strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance
- skills in inventory management and food procurement
- capacity to maintain safe and efficient kitchen operations
- ability to foster team development and motivation
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 2 years management experience in culinary or food service operations
- minimum of 2 years functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, catering, institutional or vending services
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety regulations
- experience in menu planning and inventory management
- ability to motivate and develop a culinary team
Job Duties
- Oversee all food production for inpatient menus, retail cafeteria, residential meals, and catering services
- manage a team of 14 culinarians including scheduling and training
- conduct inventory management and food procurement to ensure adequate supplies
- plan menus and ensure recipe adherence to Sodexo culinary standards
- perform receiving duties and quality control checks on all food products
- enforce HACCP compliance, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- maintain a safe and efficient kitchen operation while fostering team development and motivation
