Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction
- Strong management skills and experience
- Menu planning experience and understanding of current culinary trends
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
- Strong culinary background in high-volume environments
- Proficient computer skills
- ServSafe certification
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Certified Executive Chef (CEC) credential is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage the daily food production including production planning and controls
- Ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality
- Implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services
- Manage food costing, controls and compliance
- Develop menus and manage inventory
- Oversee labor management to maximize efficiency
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards including ServSafe and HACCP
