Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in food or culinary services
  • Ability to lead a large team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience managing food and labor costs
  • HACCP training

Job Duties

  • Lead the culinary operations for all catering events, from large-scale productions to intimate, high-end dinners
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, food cost analysis, and production forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo culinary standards, recipes, and food quality expectations
  • Oversee food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Develop, train, and motivate the culinary team to achieve excellence and embrace innovation
  • Partner in menu planning, labor scheduling, and marketing initiatives
  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience to students, faculty, and guests
