Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
- Strong culinary background
- Menu planning experience
- Strong management skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- ServSafe certified
- Knowledge of HACCP compliance
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
- Strong culinary background with ability to produce and present high quality food
- Menu planning experience and knowledge of current culinary trends
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems independently
- ServSafe certified with knowledge of HACCP
- Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.) designation is a plus
Job Duties
- Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
- Manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
- Handle procurement and purchasing
- Create menus based on client needs
- Implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services
- Develop strong interpersonal relationships with clients
