Job Requirements

  • Minimum education requirement - associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum management experience - 2 years
  • Minimum functional experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
  • Proven culinary management experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
  • Strong background in high-volume food production and upscale catering
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and ability to execute creative menus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to support early morning meal service and occasional evening events

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Two years of management experience
  • Two years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
  • Proven culinary management experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
  • Strong background in high-volume food production and upscale catering

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage a team of 20 union client staff across patient dining, retail, and catering services
  • Oversee all food production processes, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to drive culinary innovation and operational efficiency
  • Support special events and catering functions, occasionally requiring evening or weekend availability
  • Maintain a strong presence in the kitchen and on the floor to ensure service excellence
