Job Requirements

  • prior food service management experience ideally in a healthcare environment
  • strong culinary knowledge
  • knowledge of special diets is helpful
  • experience supervising and training a culinary team with exceptional human resource and supervisory skillset
  • experience managing food costs and strong computer skills
  • enthusiasm for working with a diverse set of people and confident and warm
  • positive approach to tasks with a can-do attitude and impeccable attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • prior food service management experience ideally in a healthcare environment
  • strong culinary knowledge
  • knowledge of special diets is helpful
  • experience supervising and training a culinary team with exceptional human resource and supervisory skillset
  • experience managing food costs and strong computer skills
  • enthusiasm for working with a diverse set of people and confident and warm

Job Duties

  • oversee daily operations of the kitchen
  • have a background in food production with strong cooking skills
  • handle ordering and inventory
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • have high expectations for the quality of food and presentation
  • have the ability and willingness to mentor and train employees
  • strong computer skills with knowledge of Food Management Systems/software is preferred
