Job Requirements

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum two years of management experience
  • minimum two years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • ServSafe certification
  • understanding of HACCP principles
  • ability to travel across the US as required
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to mentor and manage frontline kitchen staff
  • proficiency in procurement and purchasing processes

Job Qualifications

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum two years of management experience
  • minimum two years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • strong culinary background
  • menu planning experience and understanding of current culinary trends
  • strong management skills
  • proficient computer skills
  • highly organized and detail-focused
  • proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems
  • ServSafe Certified with working knowledge of HACCP
  • Certified Executive Chef (CEC) a plus

Job Duties

  • implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
  • manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
  • procurement and purchasing
  • create menus based on client needs
  • implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services
  • create interpersonal relationships with client
