Job Requirements

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years management experience
  • minimum of 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services or mall food courts

Job Qualifications

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • culinary management experience within high-volume restaurants, hotels or upscale dining venues
  • strong culinary background with ability to stay current with new culinary trends
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • strong coaching and employee development skills
  • passion for food and innovation

Job Duties

  • support the culinary program within an upscale, high-volume lounge
  • supervise a team of culinarians including cooks, utility staff and sous chefs
  • ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality/presentation are implemented
  • develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety, standard compliance
  • have a working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
