Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years of management experience
  • minimum 2 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts

  • strong culinary background with ability to stay current with new culinary trends
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • high end catering and dining experience
  • a passion for culinary arts
  • culinary training and certifications are a plus

Job Duties

  • Implement and maintain processes and safety standards for the food services team
  • maintain food and health and safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements
  • effectively coach, mentor, and train staff
  • prepare orders and maintain appropriate inventory
  • bring innovative and fresh ideas for retail, catering and patient services
  • cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in the hospital
