Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Ability to develop trust and build strong client relationships
  • Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring a culinary team
  • Strong knowledge in compliance, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Exceptional professional communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing a budget

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong culinary background with an artistic flair
  • Experience in retirement communities, corporate dining, country clubs, or restaurants
  • Fine dining experience

  • Strong financial acumen
  • Passion for high-level customer service and relationship building

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily dining operations including menu planning and controls
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • Maintain high expectations for quality of food and presentation
  • Develop and train cooks
  • Manage the culinary team of 25 hourly employees
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Manage the food service operations budget
