Job Requirements

  • Over 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • Extensive banquet-style events experience
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to comply with local Department of Health regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • Over 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • Extensive experience in banquet-style events
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to attain preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High-level profit and loss management capability
  • Exceptional organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Plan, supervise, and execute all events food and beverage preparation and service, including cleanup
  • Assist cooking as needed
  • Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • Schedule staff efficiently based on business volume
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Develop key staff such as sous chefs and lead cooks
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules
  • Comply with local Department of Health regulations
  • Report critical issues to the General Manager
