Job Description

Fearless Restaurant Group is a dynamic and ambitious multi-concept group of artisanal restaurants with locations in Philadelphia, PA, and Long Beach Island, NJ. Known for their passionate approach to hospitality, Fearless Restaurant Group thrives on loyalty, respect, and fostering a creative environment. The company is defined by its talented team, strong teamwork ethic, ample resources, and numerous growth opportunities. With a clear and aggressive strategy for expansion, Fearless Restaurant Group seeks leaders who share their dedication and vision to forge ahead in the competitive world of dining. Their establishments are recognized for their artisanal approach and commitment to providing memorable dining experiences that resonate with guests and employees alike.

One of the proud members of this vibrant restaurant family is Testa Rossa, meaning "red head" in Italian, a new exciting concept that brings bold Italian-American flavors to The Shoppes at Brinton Lake. This addition to the Fearless Restaurant Group represents their signature blend of innovation and tradition, showcasing freshly made pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and classic Italian entrees. Boasting over 180 indoor seats along with 100 seats on the outdoor patio, Testa Rossa promises a lively, fun, and engaging dining atmosphere paired with a bold, modern Italian design aesthetic.

The Executive Chef role at Fearless Restaurant Group is not just a position; it is an opportunity to be a strong, inspiring leader who takes profound ownership of every aspect within the kitchen and broader restaurant operations. The ideal Executive Chef demonstrates intellect, passion, integrity, and energy, treating hospitality as the foundational core of their work. Responsible for mentoring and managing a culinary team of 50-75 staff in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, this role demands a person who values respect, empathy, and dignity in leadership.

The Executive Chef will play a critical role in menu development, particularly contributing creative input to seasonal menus, aligning with the brand’s commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients and culinary innovation. This leadership position requires exceptional kitchen management skills, advanced cooking techniques, and an ability to oversee all stations, including expo. Maintaining consistent quality and organizational excellence, the Executive Chef nurtures talent, fosters professional growth, and embodies the Fearless Restaurant Group’s ethos of never settling for less.

With an emphasis on strong relationships with purveyors and local farmers, the successful candidate will use their passion for food sourcing to elevate the dining experience. The role also involves sound knowledge of food safety practices, food budgeting, food cost optimization, and staff education to ensure a seamless, efficient kitchen operation. The position offers a competitive salary with additional incentives such as a monthly bonus program, a direct deposit payment system, and a set schedule that supports work-life balance.
