Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 years experience in culinary or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage professional area
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to lead and develop teams
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • capability to manage budgets
  • proven problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years of culinary or food and beverage experience
  • or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage budgets and control expenses
  • experience in menu development
  • excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen management team
  • provide direction for all day-to-day operations
  • supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen workers
  • develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
  • establish performance, budget, and team goals
  • ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • manage employee training and performance appraisals
