Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • Minimum 4 years experience in culinary or related professional area
  • Ability to lead and develop kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
  • Experience managing kitchen operations and budgets

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years experience in culinary or food and beverage areas
  • OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 4 years experience
  • Experience in kitchen management and staff leadership
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to develop menus and control kitchen costs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen management team
  • Provide direction for all day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff
  • Develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
  • Establish performance, budget, and team goals
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • Manage guest service, handle feedback, and resolve complaints
