Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- Minimum 4 years experience in culinary or related professional area
- Ability to lead and develop kitchen staff
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- Experience managing kitchen operations and budgets
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 6 years experience in culinary or food and beverage areas
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 4 years experience
- Experience in kitchen management and staff leadership
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to develop menus and control kitchen costs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Lead kitchen management team
- Provide direction for all day-to-day kitchen operations
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff
- Develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
- Establish performance, budget, and team goals
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest service, handle feedback, and resolve complaints
