Job Requirements

  • associate's degree in culinary arts or trade/vocational school degree in culinary arts
  • three years of experience as a chef
  • executive chef experience preferred
  • one year of managerial experience
  • ability to work sunday through thursday on specified hours
  • authorized to work in the united states
  • successful completion of background check and drug screen
  • commitment to high standards of food quality and safety

Job Qualifications

  • three years of experience as a chef, with executive chef experience preferred
  • one year of managerial experience
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency in food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • plan and prepare daily meals to meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents
  • oversee budgeting for food and kitchen supplies to manage costs effectively
  • recruit, hire, and train kitchen and dining room staff to maintain high performance
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas
  • create menus that provide exceptional dining experiences and cater to resident satisfaction
  • supervise kitchen operations and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery
  • maintain inventory and order supplies to guarantee freshness and availability of ingredients
