  • valid arkansas driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Duties

  • create fresh and healthy menus using locally sourced seasonal ingredients
  • procurement of food supplies and kitchen equipment including organization of inventories and approve the quality of all foods received
  • consult with individuals scheduling events for the dining room to determine number of guests menus serving arrangements seating etc
  • resourceful in understanding that menus must be tailored to specific dietary needs
  • presentation is an important component of the meal and should be of fine-dining quality
  • interview select and hire and train kitchen personnel
  • maintain relationships with local and regional food purveyors
  • produce and maintain the highest food quality and operating procedures
  • analyze the workplace and implement policies to assure the highest health hygiene sanitation safety and food storage standards
  • inventory management shop order and acquire food supplies and any necessary equipment for the kitchen
  • plan schedule and adjust hours of work and specific responsibilities among employees
  • monitor and approve time and attendance for kitchen employees
  • perform other job related duties as required
