Job Requirements

3 to 5 plus years of experience as executive chef or senior culinary leader
accredited culinary or college degree required
food manager certification required
certified executive chef preferred
strong leadership and team management skills
excellent culinary skills and knowledge
ability to manage budgets and cost controls
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work in a member-driven environment
knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader
Proven success leading teams, controlling costs, and maintaining elite culinary standards
Accredited culinary or college degree required
Food Manager Certification required

Job Duties

Lead the Culinary Vision
Bring Bluejack Ranch's mission to life: creating exceptional lifestyle experiences, one family, one member, one guest, and one employee at a time
Design and execute menus that reflect seasonality, member preferences, historical performance, and special occasions
Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage and Operations on menu pricing, banquets, and signature Club events
Utilize menu engineering and POS analytics to drive quality, consistency, and profitability
Direct all culinary production, ensuring excellence in preparation, presentation, portioning, and taste
Oversee food procurement, inventory management, and quality control for all products received
Maintain best-in-class standards for sanitation, food safety, and operational efficiency
Ensure proper and effective use of the Jonas Point of Sale system
Be a Financial Steward
Manage food, labor, and operating costs in alignment with budgetary goals
Implement cost controls while preserving culinary creativity and member satisfaction
Partner in inventory accuracy, pricing, and reporting
Develop & Lead People
Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary team
Create clear schedules, roles, and expectations that support both the business and team well-being
Lead performance management, coaching, and advancement with fairness and consistency
Champion workplace safety and compliance across the kitchen operation
Deliver an Elevated Member Experience
Actively engage with Members and guests through dining room visits and feedback conversations
Respond to special requests and last-minute needs with professionalism and grace
Practice immediate service recovery and communicate concerns to leadership as they arise
Serve as a culinary ambassador for Bluejack Ranch within the community and industry
Model and reinforce Bluejack's
Collaborate across departments to deliver the Club's 3 Steps of Service—without being asked
Step in, support the team, and lead by example every day
