Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts
- Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Extensive catering experience preferred
- Experience in high volume and complex foodservice operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of food trends, sanitation, production, and cost controls
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer skills
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Lead daily culinary production in preparation and production of meals
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet established standards
- Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage team member productivity and performance
- Control costs and maintain overall profitability
- Develop and implement menus reflecting seasonal and special ingredients
- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff
