Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior chef role
- Strong understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Experience managing kitchen staff and operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to maintain a high standard of quality and consistency
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Capability to handle administrative duties such as inventory and ordering
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive chef or head chef
- Advanced culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Experience in kitchen management and staff supervision
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop menus and creative dishes
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Experience with inventory and budget management
- Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes
- Coordinating cooks' tasks
- Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness
- Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentation
- Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational and financial objectives
- Hiring and training kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation workers and dishwashers
- Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders
- Controlling inventory and labor costs
- Maintaining budgets in place
- Adhering to Titan hospitality culture, values, and standard operating procedures
- Coach and development of Sous Chefs and hourly team members
- Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff
- Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints
